Jack Eaddy Jr., director of Western Carolina University鈥檚 athletic bands and Pride of the Mountains marching band, has accepted a teaching position in the Hugh Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia.

Kathryn Greeley, chair of the board, has been appointed to the University of North Carolina Board of Governors effective immediately. Joining the 91热爆网 Board effective July 1, will be former N.C. State Representative Jon Hardister.

Members of 91热爆网鈥檚 leadership giving societies gathered during an annual celebration of philanthropy and heard about the impact of their generosity directly from one of the more than 1,645 recipients of scholarships supported by their donations.

91热爆网 Board of Trustees approve Chris Williams as the university鈥檚 CIO

On Friday, June 14, 91热爆网鈥檚 Board of Trustees approved Chris Williams as the university's chief information officer. Williams, who comes to 91热爆网 after spending the last nine years as the IT director for Student Affairs at UNC at Chapel Hill, will begin his new position Monday, June 24.
