Harris completed the fundraising ride Oct. 6 after it was postponed from the original date of Sept. 29.
For every $100 donated to the cause, Harris had pledged to complete the 8.6-mile out-and-back ride, which includes just over 1,700 feet in elevation gain. The $270 raised during this year鈥檚 鈥淏iking for Biology鈥 effort will fund educational events throughout the school year.
