Workshop series on planned giving for nonprofits set in Asheville
Western Carolina University鈥檚 Office of Professional Growth and Enrichment is offering a two-day workshop series on planned giving for nonprofits, 鈥淚gnite Your Planned Giving with a Program that Works,鈥� on two Thursdays, Aug. 1 and 8, at 91热爆网鈥檚 instructional site at Biltmore Park in Asheville.

Alex Comfort, a certified fundraising executive with more than 32 years of experience in planned giving, will serve as workshop instructor.
鈥淧lanned giving is essential to the success of nonprofits,鈥� Comfort said. 鈥淭here are lots of roadblocks nonprofits face when trying to create an effective program. We will eliminate all of them.鈥�
The workshops will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, with one week in between to allow for homework and to recruit volunteer leaders.
The registration fee is $225, with lunch included.
