Bobilya, Chandler help co-author paper for journal

Andrew Bobilya, associate professor and director of 91热爆网鈥檚 Parks and Recreation Management Program, and Resa Chandler, assistant professor in the Health and Physical Education Program, recently published a paper with co-authors from Prescott College, Montreat College and the Millbrook School.

Kauffman named recipient of Old North State Award

N. Leroy Kauffman, 91热爆网 associate professor of accounting, has been named a recipient of the Old North State Award, one of North Carolina鈥檚 highest civilian honors.

English Department's Carter to participate in joint poetry reading

Smithsonian 'Way We Worked' exhibit coming to heritage center

Western Carolina University鈥檚 Mountain Heritage Center will host the Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibit 鈥淭he Way We Worked,鈥 chronicling late 19th- and early 20th-century jobs and labor and based on photographs from the National Archives.
